Hello again, Park Managers!
We are incredibly excited to announce the latest dinosaur pack coming to Jurassic World Evolution 2 on 30 November, the Cretaceous Predator Pack.
Give your park guests the experience of a lifetime with four new unique Cretaceous species, all of them powerful prehistoric reptiles in their own rights. They will undoubtedly be fantastic additions to your parks.
Let's take a closer look at what's coming in the Jurassic World Evolution 2: Cretaceous Predator Pack.
The Gigantoraptor is the largest known Oviraptorosaur and was first discovered in Inner Mongolia in 2005. Its large stature can be quite intimidating, and a fully grown Gigantoraptor could weigh as much as two metric tons in body mass. The elongation of its legs meant it was adapted to run or maintain speed for an extensive amount of time, making it a dinosaur that could be difficult to flee from.
This carnivore is the epitome of feathered ferocity. Undeniably stunning, but also incredibly lethal, this ruthless predator had scythe-like claws that could stop almost any victim dead in its tracks. One of the largest known raptors, the Utahraptor could grow up to 18 feet long and 4 feet tall. Now its beautiful plumage is coming to Jurassic World Evolution 2!
This dinosaur lived approximately 130 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous period, and was originally discovered in Spain. Its name means "Cuenca hunter with a hump", stemming from the tall narrow hump on the dinosaur's back, as well as a city close to where it was first discovered. The Concavenator has a unique and instantly recognisable profile, but try not to get taken in by its unique look. It's still a highly dangerous hunter!
Inspired by the Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation Netflix Show, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous: Hidden Adventure, and straight to your parks, it's Tarbosaurus, the Alarming Lizard! This Asian counterpart to the T. rex is a highly efficient hunter, measuring at approximately 10 metres long, 3 metres tall at the hips, and weighing up to 5 metric tons! You can rest assured that your guests will be absolutely awed by its awesome power.
We've also got a free update coming your way on 30 November! We have some incredibly exciting features coming in Update 8, which will be available to all players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Let's take a look at some of the highlights below.

You'll be able to use preset starting layouts on the following maps:
You can never have too many decorations in your Dinosaur Park! Customise your park using new bins, benches, plant pots and fountains, to name a few of the new additions. All building styles and eras will be able to use these new decorations to add that little extra to your parks.
We love seeing your gorgeous Jurassic World Evolution 2 screenshots and soon we're kicking Capture Mode up another notch with a cool new addition. Soon you'll be able to change the time of day and weather while in Capture Mode. This won't affect gameplay, so when you leave Capture Mode the weather and time of day will be immediately reverted back.
